I'm so impressed by this Survival Starter Bundle.

All the seeds are beautifully packaged, with scanable codes for planting and info sheets. Of the several trays of seeds I planted in the last month, only a couple failed to grow. I'm giving seedlings away, because I didn't expect that many successful cells!

The best part about them? Every seed pack smells AWESOME! You can tell they are fresh seeds that come from healthy plants. I'll be getting all my seeds from Survival Seeds from now on. Love them (and thank you again for the planting planner, it's perfect!!).

The variety of seeds in this bundle is impressive, including the extras (I didn't realise when I purchased, the center of the photograph is also a tin full of seeds - I thought it was just a sticker with your logo!)

FAQ's

How long will these seeds last?

Over time, the germination rate of seeds will decline. For optimal results, it's best to plant seeds within 18 months of purchase if they are stored properly.

Some varieties will last a lot longer, so you can still plant seeds that are much older, just be prepared for a lower germination rate.

How should I store these seeds?

While it's what makes them grow in the garden, moisture, heat and sunlight are the main factors that reduce the lifespan of stored seeds.

Each of our kits are sealed and include moisture absorbers, as well as storage instructions.

To minimise loss in quality, store kits sealed in a dark, dry, cool location. A cupboard is normally sufficient short-term (1 – 2 years). For longer periods (2 – 5+ years), we recommend you store our kits in your fridge crisper.

How much food can these seeds grow?

While it is hard to provide a specific answer, you can grow LOADS of food from our seed kits. More than enough for a family, with plenty to share with friends! Seeds are by far the most economical way to grow food when compared to the cost of buying seedlings.

With the cost of fresh produce continuing to soar, you can grow thousands of dollars worth of veggies with this seed kit. And remember, being heirloom seeds, you can harvest and reuse your seeds each year to keep you growing for generations!

Can I save seeds from my harvest to replant next season?

Yes, since our seeds are open-pollinated heirloom varieties, you can save seeds from your harvest to replant in future seasons, ensuring a self-sufficient and sustainable garden for generations.
